Dare to Repair
All-levels DIY mending class. Bring in one or more items from home that you would like to repair and work on in a collaborative group setting.
We'll go around and discuss each person’s project and talk about possible solutions. Then you will learn the hand sewing methods needed for your specific repair. We will provide the appropriate tools and materials and you’ll have time to start and potentially finish your repairs.
This class needs at least 3 people to run so sign up with a friend or share in your story to help spread the word. If the class doesn’t reach it’s minimum capacity, we will notify you on Saturday evening 10/26 and issue a refund for your payment.
Our studio is located at 401 N 23rd St. in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond, VA. There is typically ample street parking within a block or two.
